- 1 Brisket Trimmed 2-4 pounds
- 1 Bottle of Veg'd Organics Ketchup
- 1 Medium Yellow Onion-Diced
- 3 Cloves Garlic -Minced
- 1 Cup Water
Method Of Preparation:
Mix 1 bottle of Veg'd Organics Ketchup with chopped garlic, onions, and 1 cup of water. Place brisket in 1 gallon zip top bag pour in marinade, and allow to marinate 12 to 24 hours in the refrigerator. Rotate bag and give it a mini massage every 8-10 hours.
Remove brisket from bag, Place into covered roasting pan in a 275-degree oven and leave it for approx.4-6 hours, depending on how large the brisket is. Check tenderness when brisket has been cooking several hours: stick in two forks and pull in opposite directions. Meat should come apart easily.
When meat is done, remove from oven and place on a cutting board.Allow meat to rest covered for 15 minutes before slicing. This will allow the juices to redistribute themselves and will keep the meat juicy. Slice against the grain and enjoy with your favorite sides and toppings!
